Pulses

Pulses are the edible seeds of plants in the legume family. Pulses are annual crops that yield between one and 12 grains or seeds. Pulses are healthy, nutritious and easy to cook. Dried peas, edible beans, lentils and chickpeas are the most common varieties of pulses. Pulses are very high in protein and fibre, and are low in fat. Pulses are a great tasting addition to any diet.
